it means that your dentist is absolutly INSANE. if i were you i would run, and never ever let him work on your teeth again.

Kinda sounds like you pushed him beyond the limit! Hopefully he will be retiring soon. In the medical/dental field we sometimes have to deal with very difficult patients, they can be quite abusive to us when we're just there to help them. I do think that your dentist reacted inappropriately, but I would love to hear the other side of the story!

it means you should get out of the chair, run away as fast as you can and find a different dentist. that sounds quite unprofessional and a tad abusive.
