I have no wisdom teeth, my father had none, and my mother had two.
So in this case, no, not all people have wisdom teeth. It is possible to have 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Most dentists, especially orthodontists will want them removed. Many wisdom teeth grow in compacted, which is sideways, which will cause obvious crowding and infection of your teeth. It is beneficial to have them removed in most cases, but not in every. Let's say your teeth were spaced apart, there was plenty of room for your wisdom teeth and they grew in just like any other teeth...then no need, but that would be an extremely rare case.
p.s. People without wisdom teeth are not "dumb" just that much more wealthy for not having to pay for removal.

Nope not all people grow 4 wisdom teeth. Some might grow in, then develop cavities, and people will have to get them removed. Other times, one or 2 might grow in. It depends on the person

people may have missing teeth, and that usually is the wisdom teeth.
i have missing upper wisdom teeth! so i'm only having the 2 lower ones.
you do not need to remove wisdom teeth if they are upright.
sometimes the wisdom teeth are impacted because it does not have enough space to erupt properly in the upright manner.
those have to be removed because it causes food and plaque retention and may result in caries and gum disease.
if the lower wisdom tooth has to be removed, the dental surgeon probably extract the opposite upper wisdom tooth as well to prevent it brusing the surgical site after extraction.

some people don't have them ever come in. they never come above the gum surface. most people do get them removed, just at the fact that wisdom teeth are soft teeth and are very likely to get decay on them, or people don't have enough room in their mouth. i had four wisdom teeth removed, and let me tell you they hurt me alot when they were coming in. anything is possible with the human body to have just 2 wisdom teeth.

If the know-how tooth are completely erupted and particularly nicely aligned, there is actual no reason they could desire to be extracted. regrettably some dentists blindly propose know-how tooth to be extracted no remember if that's mandatory or no longer. that's corresponding to the previous days while physicians robotically counseled tonsils to e got rid of. all of us comprehend now that this grew to become into no longer the form of sturdy concept. don't be afraid to question your dentist approximately something that he/she desires to do on your tooth. a ethical dentist will have not have been given any reservations answering any questions you're turning out to be. there's a fantasy in dentistry that alleges know-how tooth can push tooth forward to reason crowding of front tooth. Orthodontically conversing, that's fairly no longer likely yet this concept persists.

Not everyone has four. the main problem with them is they are too far back in the mouth to help with chewing. I had two that were impacted before they came through. Had all pulled. Haven't missed them a bit.

No. I had to have mine removed but only two were erupted. The others were impacted and not visable. I wasn't having trouble with mine but was told to have them removed because I most likely would have trouble and the older you are the worse the surgery. If they are erupted and not bothering you then I would leave them. If they are impacted then consult your dentist or oral surgeon for their opinions.

I think most people have 4 wisdom teeth but they don't always erupt. It isn't always necessary to have them removed.

Not everyone grows them, but everyone has them. Everyone is supposed to grow them. A medical condition might keep all of them from growing, or it might just be that they simply didn't grow, like they were supposed to.
