I just noticed on of my front teeth if I try to move it can be moved like a extrememly small bit, I can fell it too. I asked my friend and he said his do that too and its normal, just be able to move very slightly. Like I can hear a slight sound and feel a slight wiggle sensation, nothing major at all. But im just wondering if my tooth is gonna fall out one day which would suck. Anyone able to very slightly move one of your front teeth?

Hey, Im 20 and i got all my wisdom teeth. My wisdom on my lower right side of jaw has a hole, even tho i have no pain yet, i was thinking of having it pulled out to save me from the stress i get before having a dentist appointment. My concern is that, i have a few phobias and one being sick or feeling sick and the other being a dental phobia. Most times after having a root cannel i feel sick. Would a wisdom tooth extraction make me feel sick too? and what happens when you have one taking out. Step by step and how long it will take.! thanks.. Oh yeah that tooth is fully through so would it be easyer to take out?

Ok so my tooth broke apart numerous years ago (2 or 3). Just a day or two ago another little part came off and now I have a small lump right in the middle of the tooth that broke off and the one beside it, that I think has a cavity. Now, I'm not at home right now. I'm a truck driver and can't get to a dentist ASAP, so I was wondering if I can put it off for a few days, maybe a week until I get home? I don't want my tooth to become so badly infected that I'll end up getting sick in the hospital. I don't have the ability to get to the dentist because my medical and dental isn't covered in this country, and I don't have extra cash to spend on a dentist visit. What should I do? I'm insanely worried about it. it doesn't hurt too much yet, but I can feel it coming. I need help asap on this and thank you in advance for all your answers, much appreciated. I just don't wanna get sick somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Is there any symptoms for when I should be concerned about my life?

i have wore my braces abt 10 yrs ago. At that time, my orthodontist suggested me to go for the jaw surgery due to protruded upper jaw. However, due to young age, my parents rejected.
but now, i thinking to do the surgery. My question is can i jus go and see a oral & maxillofacial doctor or must i wear a braces so i can have the surgery done?

I done my braces in a teaching hospital. My orthodontist has already graduated and i cant remember who she is now..

I had a deep filling and the dentist stated afterwards that he didnt think it was deep enought to result in a root canal. However, the day after i was fine and the day after that the pain started. OUCH! I callled my dentist and he stated that it was a deep filling and i need to either have a root canal or extraction. I dont want either..i just want it to get better, but i dont want the pain. Is it normal to have the extreme pain come and go. How long should i wait to make my decision and what should i do? PLease help.

Hello, everybody. When I went to the dentist's today to get my cavities drilled out, my dentist said that the two cavities I had were so deep, that he might hit a nerve while drilling and cause long-term damage. He then said if he used anesthetic on me, I wouldn't be able to feel him hitting the nerve and warn him, so I had to go through the whole procedure without anesthetic. It was a very painful nightmare, and I just wanted to know if his reason was valid, because it seems odd not to give anesthetic for a dental procedure. Thanks in advance to everyone.

I've been taking my children to this same dentist for the last 5 years (they're 7) and they've had 4 cavities each during the past 5 years. Every single filling they've had has had a problom. 2 of my sons teeth has had to be pulled after abcessing and he's needed spacers for those 2 teeth. My daughter has had to have a crown put on one of her and with the other 2, one has abcessed and has to be pulled and the other is being filled a week later. I know most answers will be to get a new dentist, however, the initial cost of doing that is high but we will if we have to. I would just like to know if the dentist is doing something wrong or not.
Can anyone tell me this??
Thanks if you can, thanks anyway if you can't!! :o)
