Well, you should have let her know that you have problems, but, yes, she will know if you have a gum disease, and she would have indicated that to you while she was cleaning your teeth. She would have advised you that you need a deep cleaning, which means, that you have a plaque build up at the gum line. I think you're fine since she didn't alert you, but you should call your dentist tomorrow and tell them that you have bleeding gums. Do you use a hard tooth brush, is so, change it to a soft tooth brush...call your dentist tomorrow, I think you're fine, but take precautions. Gum disease can be detrimental to your overall health. Take care, be well.

If they did not bleed when the dentist cleaned them then you need a different tooth brush. And yes a dentist can tell healthy gums from unhealthy gums even if you dont complain about your gums to a dentist. When they are looking at your teeth with that litlle mirror they are also checking for any gum problems.

She should! When she cleans your teeth(like using the curettes etc. ) she must see all the blood, which means either you have alot of plaque or you may have gum disease!

evaluate your self fortunate! to be waiting to have relatively healthful perio interpreting and have undemanding to average gingivitis is spectacular. you have been fortunate so some distance yet do not push your success. any further, you pay attention on your dental team on the thank you to safeguard your self precise. while a dental team carry out a perio probe, you could guess that they do an particularly thorough interest of checking your enamel and gums. by using taking radiographs, they are able to examine for issues different than hollow area which includes bone density and the well-being of the enamel and surrounding shape. So the possibility of them lacking something is very unlikely. i might ask your dentist regarding the loose enamel and what might nicely be performed to sidestep them from going any further. i think that they might have been attributed to the state of your gums. even although, with time-honored examine-ups, flossing and ingesting nicely, you may desire to be waiting to maintain your enamel for an prolonged time.
