I have a very mild case of an overbite and I was wondering why I should fix it. Also, what would happen if I don't fix it?

Nothing will happen of you don't have it fixed. It is more of a cosmetic thing. I had a 10 mm overbite, i had to have my jaw broken cut in have and moved forward. For me it was worth it b/c it was need, but if it is mild and not to bad i would not worry about it. Having my jaw jaw broken did not hurt my nerves where stretch so i had no pain. It has been 9 months and have my feeling back in my jaw.

u shouldn't, nothing will happen. my ortho told me i need braces for an overbite. no point, tons of pain. just for money. my advice? don't do it. another dentist, an intern or something, told me my teeth are perfect. u should be perfectly fine. nothing should happen.
