There is a hole at the base of my front lower tooth at the back of the tooth. I was wondering if its possible to have this repaired as I am not gonna be happy to have a gap there.

I have had 9 teeth taken out in the last two weeks, On one side of my mouth i have had Lower Right 1 Bicsupid removed and the lower right 2nd And My 1st Molar on the same side has as crumbling tooth and filling (possible baby tooth) I have no wisdom teeth and they have now advised me that work would need to be done to the filling tooth and went from severe overcrowding to now possible implants or bridges as the gap is too large to close, there is not ancoridge to attach the archwire so its from one cuspid to the other, Is this dentist at fault? They clearly have taken more teeth than they should have? They have taken clearly healthy teeth over a crumbling baby tooth with a VERY old filling.

Can you advise of what i should do next. Im a private patient and paid over £450 for the removal of these and now paying £5000 for the braces which i dont see doing anything. Should they be liable for the cost of this error or blatent negligence? There was too many teeth now i dont have enough!

My dentist, while glue was setting and tried to interest me in jewelry and a watch for my wife, all of them embedded or crusted with bleached pearly human teeth (instead of real pearl or diamonds), it felt really strange and they looked cheap not even real gold. He also tried to sell baby toys, a mobile which obviously not safe for kids, etc. and then candy and sodas at a price much more expensive than CostCo but obviously from Costco. Just wondering what you think.

I have had braces for only about 5 months now. My teeth were basically all over the place! The teeth that are suposed to be next to my two front teeth are litterally directly behind them They are not visable almost at all. They started out by removing all 4 of my bicuspid to create room and then put my braces on. The teeth behind the front teeth have nothing on them though and I'm thinking it's, because they are moving the cuspids(canines) more towards the back since they are where the second teeth should be. My question is how are they going to move the teeth up from behind though? Will I need to wear some kind of headware or use another device. I just don't understand and my orthodontist is just not taking me seriously. I am 19 years old and out on my own. I had to wait to get braces, because my parents just could not afford it. When I ask him questions he always just says "Oh we will worry about it when we get there!" Does he know what he is doing? Any thoughts would be great. Thanx

Okay so basically i'm getting my braces off on friday but i have this one concern. I have to wear elastics and i've noticed that if i don't wear them my teeth shift back. So once i get my braces off.. won't the same thing happen? my teeth will just shift, even with a retainer?

You have a tooth that is hurting you,you go in, if your blood pressure is little high they make you get a paper from your doctor saying it's ok, they charge you for that visit, what is the diffrents that, that piece of paper going to make as long as I say it's alright and sign for it to be done. you go back now and the tooth is worst because he made you wait,he tells you you need to take antiabotic first and charges you for that visit and of couse you have to go back to get the tooth pulled and you are charged for that visit. If a doctor or a dentist care anything about you he wouldn't make all these charges,You almost spend 500.00 to get one tooth pulled when it would have only cost 175.00 in the first place includind the xray, what ripoffs when you are in pain and have no choice, that kind of money is hard to come up with and no insurence.

My two year old son had surgery on March 10, 2007 he had a tooth extraction. He will have to have seven more teeth taken out on a surgery on May 4, 2007. The dentist prescribed an antibotic for him so that more teeth do not become infected.
I had the pharmacy flavor the medicine (bubble gum) but he still won't take it. Please help!!

I want to advice nursing mothers to always brush your baby or toddlers teeth after nursing (every time) so this does not happen to you.
