ive had braces since grade 9 and im in grade 12. i had a really bad overbite and really crooked teeth
and i still have a slight overbite and my teeth are really straight now but i still have a lower jaw deficiency...will this ever go away and make my jaw look normal like everyone else???
and my ortho said id be getting my braces off may or june but my jaw doesnt look right? is he just tired of me going their all the time lol so he wants this procedure to be over and done with

Since you are concerned about the jaw deficiency, talk your orthodontist about it. Also, talk to your parents. Do they see the same degree of deficiency you do? I ask because sometimes it's hard for the person in braces to see much progress.
Also, has there been any discussion about surgery? Sometimes it's appropriate and sometimes not. The best way to know if your jaw will be "normal" is for you and your parents to ask.

I wouldn't worry about it so much. Yes, it's a pain, but if it's not that severe, your ortho probably thinks that you shouldn't waste your time or money on getting it fixed. If it bothers you that bad, ask him about getting it fixed and say you would really like to...or tell him your taking your business elsewhere. Also, if having braces bothers you badly, ask him about the clear braces.

Why should your Ortho be tired of your going while he's treating you for a fee? It's his duty and he knows best.
