Okay, logically, I know the broken, infected, painful, nerve-exposed wisdom tooth will not feel better if I beat up my own face, but I've been living on Tylenol for five years and I've been told by two different dentists that the thing needs to be extracted surgically. However, the oral surgeons seem to insist on doing a consultation first, and then they can work me in an appointment sometime in the next few months.
I have a stomach ulcer and was hospitalized last year because I took asperin to help with the pain (didn't know about the ulcer at the time), and now, the ONLY over-the-counter medicine I can take is Tylenol. And Tylenol is worthless when up against the pain that has kept me up for two days.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get this done sooner? If I go to the ER, would someone at the hospital be able to remove the tooth?
