I think the cost of the implant itself is quite low. Also the procedure doesn't take longer than root canal + restauration (which may cost around $1,500). Why then is the cost of an implant $3,000?

i have seen shows where people in africa or in them very small poor villages where things are hard for surviving and most of them walking around with hardly no clothes or sometimes none at all . but the question i have is why their teeth are so white ? most of them have big white pearly teeth . my teeth are ok , but i sure wish my teeth were normally white like that ! does any one know or have an answer ? are chemicals here in water or food , or toothpaste has to do with alot of it ?

I know it will vary. My teeth aren't very bad. There a just a couple of teeth that I don't like. They are alittle crooked. No major work.

I am using Aquafresh Extreme Clean (The one with the orange flavor) and I think its because I do not put the cap on all the way usually but I find that the portion of the tube above the actual toothpaste has a pocket of air. The tube is half empty the bottom half is toothpaste and the top half is a pocket of air. Is there something that is chemically not good about this? Or is it because I squeeze the toothpaste out awkwardly? What are probable explanations for this?

I had my braces off when i was 12. I had them on the top and bottom. I wore my retainer for years afterwards like I was supposed to. Finally my mouth grew too big for it. I'm now 24 and my front teeth are still moving a little bit. It is really upsetting because so much money was spent on braces and I did what they told me to do.

I don't want to bother paying to see if it can be fixed because I feel like I'll have to wear a retainer for the rest of my life. When do teeth stop moving???

About 10 years ago I had a root canal that went horribly awry. I ended up losing the tooth completely because I waited to long to get it properly capped. Anyways I've been without a molar for the past ten years and it hasn't bothered me, but I'm 33 now and I'm wondering if it can lead to problems in the future. I've been thinking about gettting an implant (dental). Has anyone had problems with associated with tooth loss?
