Usually it's due to stress. Most people grind their teeth without realizing it. Try to be conscious of it. Grinding will cause excessive wear and tear on your teeth.

Try a nightguard at night. If you are grinding during the day, you might be grinding at night while you are sleeping as well. You may wake up with a headache, jaw pain, overall tooth pain, etc.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Old habits die hard I guess.
Same way why some people like to fidget every now & again.
The condition (teeth grinding) could be due to stress as well.

It could be stress or it could be a minor discrepancy in the way your teeth come together. It could be boredom.
