I have 2 children and 1 on the way. The absolute worst pain I've ever been in was when I had nerve pain due to a horrible toothache. No joke. A normal toothache, no big deal but I don't think anything could be worse than nerve pain. ETA: I've never gone through labor without an epidural so I can't compare those 2.

It will help but you might want to take some Tylenol or Advil to help with the pain. Also, as someone already suggested, rinse your mouth out with some warm salt water. That should help you as well.

the ambesol wont work for long and may cause more damage to your gums, take some ibuprofen600mg and usually a warm towel on that side works , but i would see a dentist asap b/c even if it stops hurting now it will be back probably worse
