i damaged both my front teeth some time back, my dentist seems to be doing nothing that i'm satifyed with to improve/restore the damaged teeth...trouble is there are not many dentists in my area that are taking new patients on and ive been quoted by private deniest £100 just to talk to them and £1,500 per crown...(trouble is not everybody as got that kind of money).

i'm really feeling depressed, i try to avoid smiling and everything (i feel like ive lost who i am) :/ is there anything i can do maybe speak to a doctor or something because dentists don't seem to be doing anything that i'm happy with and it really is having an effect on my life...i'm 24 should be experiercing the best times of my life but i'm totally unhappy.

I've had my wisdom teeth removed this past Thursday, so one week ago today. All four were impacted. Does anyone know how long the healing process is? The right side of my face feels fine while the left side is a little sore and just doesn't feel right. Yesterday one of the stitches fell out and this morning I was coughing pretty bad and looked in my mouth and noticed a little bleeding on one of them. The doctors office said the stitches sometimes fall out, but I have not asked about the bleeding. How long does it take to heal so you don't have to worry about a dry socket? Does the bleeding mean the healing process has been messed up? Any other advice or thoughts?

hi i have a really bad phobia of needles. until recently i usually only fainted with them but in the last 6 months i have fitted twice when i have had to have a needle. i am meant to be having 2 teeth out and i have been told that i will have to have a needle no matter what.
what i want to know is:
if you have a fear/phobia of needles would you have the teeth out or would you just leave them.
the teeth are causeing no problems to me its just that i have braces and the orthodontist wants them out because there stoping my braces from working properly as they are in the way but im seriousely considering just telling him i cant have them out and to take the braces off as he cant do anything else now.
what would you do? by the way im 16.

I've been reading that to disinfect your current toothbrush, you could dip it in hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes, rinse it out and let it dry.

Is this a good thing to do? Could it be potentially damaging to the teeth to use a brush that's been dipped in hydrogen peroxide?

My sister used to always tell me that I did. I am so paranoid. I hate chewing gum and mints, but I do anyway. I always brush at least twice a day.

OK. I have this sore in the back of my mouth that showed up the other day. It feels like there is a tooth poking through, but if I run my tongue on the outside of my gum where I think it's coming in I get this weird flavor and it's freaking me out.

The only way I can describe the flavor would be (I swear I'm not being gross on purpose here) is the flavor I get when I give a girl oral sex. That's really the only thing I can match the taste to. I'm sorry if that's gross or offends anyone.

my tooth started hurting about a month ago and i'm not sure it is abscess. Had a root canal 20yrs ago on that tooth. i thought the aching was a side effect of cholesterol meds however, those were stopped over a month ago and the pain in my jaw and arms has worsened. Can the infection from an abscess effect that much of my body?

This is the cutting of the fold of skin inside the upper lip (the f. labii superioris). My daughter has an overgrowth of this tissue and I am scared to take her to an oral surgeon at such a young age. It has grown onto her gums between her two front teeth causing a gap between her baby teeth. It also has grown the other way onto the inside of her lip slightly. Should I be alarmed? Is she too young to have this procedure? What happens if I wait? Will this affect her adult teeth?
