Im in Dental School and I have found that Crest Pro Health is going to be your best bet!! Its giving you the whole dentist visit with out the dentist in a way lol. Dont get me wrong you still need your 6month treatment but I would deffinitly use Crest Pro Health or Crest Whiting Mouthwash over Listerine. I Brush 2x daily as well but dont always use my mouthwash like i should, it really does help so I better keep at it as well! Another technique I use is brush, rinse, then put some more toothpaste on your brush and go at your gums gently for about a minuet. It always is good to keep the blood moving through those gums, it needs to be done. It helps with plaque build up, bleedy gums when you floss, and much more. Hope this helped!

I use Listerine daily. I hadn't for years just used to brush and floss and I started to get bleeding gums. I brush and have always brushed 2x a day but I also rinse with Listerine both times too. The blue one. I use crest whiting tooth paste. Haven't had a cavity in 12 years

Everyone should be using some type of antibacterial mouthrinse at least once a day. Products like Scope and some others are not effective, the have no antibacterial properties, they just freshen your breath! Both Listerine and Crest Pro-Health Rinse are equally effective. Many people prefer the Crest because it does not give you that burning sensation that Listerine does. I prefer Listerine because I actually like the "burn". Listerine has actually come out with a variety of flavors, some of which do not give you the "burn". My advice to you is either one is good as long as you are using one of them. You may want to ask your dentist if they have any samples that you can try so that you can see for yourself as to which one you like! Use it though, using products that can cut the bacterial load in your mouth, help fight and prevent periodontal disease!

The active ingredient in Crest Pro-Health Rinse (CPC) may cause staining of the teeth. I got nasty brown stains from using this product. I would not advise anyone to use the Crest rinse.

Listerine is the only one proven to help prevent cavities. Ones without alchohol are good to help freshen breath. All the others don't really do anything, they don't help your teeth in any way, so are basically a waste of money, unless your movin in for that big smootch within a few minutes of using it.

Listerine has unnecessary alcohol that burns your mouth. The Crest is as beneficial but without the burn. Some people (like my husband) have to have the burn before they feel like they're getting their money's worth. In reality they're both equally effective in loosening plaque and killing bacteria

I use mouthwash. Crest Pro-Health. The mouthwash is just another step in keeping your teeth healthy.
