are they painful? how much (on average) do they cost? do they "slip" often? do you wish you still had your orginal teeth?

My dad has them and they're only painful to him when food slides up underneath them and cuts his gums. I think insurance covered them. They don't slip... you need to wear them continuously. If not, your gums will sag and they won't fit right. He wears them 24/7 unless he cleans them obviously so he never has problems. I don't think he cares about his original teeth...they just all kept falling out so this is probably for the best haha

I am 26. I have porcelain tooth tops attached to steel inserts. IAn insert is a steel peg that gets attached to your jaw. It comes up through your gums and leaves just a little stub on top. The dentist will then attach your porcelain tooth to the stub. I love my porcelain teeth. They feel ultra strong with no hot cold sensitivity. They brush completely clean and look fantastic. They are permanently attached. They are the most expensie method you can get. Since I am 26 and will have these for many more years I figured it was worth the $5000 dollars per tooth
