and my throat is sore and it hurts to swallow what is it?

It sounds like you have tonsillitis or strep throat. If you have an exudate on your tonsils, this is an infection that only an antibiotic will cure. See your doctor, in the meantime to reduce the pain gargle with salt water, drink tea to sooth the throat or any of the over the counter lozenges or sprays will help.

Also, I've had times when plaque will accumulate on the tonsils. There will be little balls and they stink!!!! I know it sounds gross. I've had it happen maybe 2 or 3 times in my life but I don't know how it ends up back there.

strep throat, and you need antibiotics immediately. go see a doctor or go to an immediate care center.

strep throat and ur highly contagious so get to the dr so u can get a antibiotic..a day after u take it u wont be contagious anymore..........good luck

it's called pus and you probably have strep throat, you need an antibiotic.
