Ok, I've been holding out on the Listerine because I didn't want to dry anything out, but it's day 4 since I got 2 of my wisdom teeth extracted (got them out last Friday evening) and since I'm going out today, I don't wanna walk around with The Breath From Hell. I haven't even been able to brush that area properly and it's killing me. The top was just pulled out as it was growing in and the bottom had to be sutuered shut with undissolvable stitches.

So if I cut the Listerine ratio and use mostly water, would it be OK to rinse? Would I be pulling a clot out prematurely or something? The face still hurts a bit because the dentist was particularly rough on my jaw because of my bottom tooth being impacted, but my mouth doesn't feel all that sore... just little twinges.

Looking to get rid of stains on teeth using things found in the household. Maybe some kind of tricks or uncommon ways. Please do not say listerine and brush your teeth.

If you do not have half of what is owed before a proceedure at the dentist office here in Ohio, they will not do the proceedure on you. My sister is very ill because of a tooth that needs to be pulled, root canal done, ect. She can not afford it and I would like to know if there is assistance out there for such emergencies?

I am already working in the physical therapy field. I am more interested in physical therapy than dental hygiene. I know dental hygienist make good money and so do pt assistants. I want your opinions on the two fields.

Remember, it's not always about the money.

I am going to the dentist in 3 hours. I have a tooth that needs to be pulled (root canal already failed on it) and I am in a lot of pain. I took some motrin and the only other thing that is easing the pain is cold water. I've drank so much water, I feel like I could float away. Any advice to help me with the next few hours?

For the past two years, on and off, I've been having a toothache that doesn't seem to go away. Two years ago I had two teeth pulled, one was wisdom, one was impacted. I floss, rinse with mouthwash and brush it every day. I've skipped some days, due to not feeling well or tired. I know I should see a doctor soon. But I want to be sure if you guys know what it is before I call. Do you know what causing the pain?

Given his profile in world matters, one would think TB would do somethink about his really embarrassing teeth. Is it because his government has all but killed off NHS dentists and he can't, like the rest of us afford to go private, or is the W W trying to arrange a freebee ?

*please have a read back at those*

anyway ive been back today and had it re-cleaned inside (i never had needle in this gum though) and could feel pain in it the odd times :/

anyway, ive found out i'm NOT having a crown and ive got to go back on the 28th december to have the fillings done...i'm not happy with the date so i'm going to try and get a cancelation, but are fillings inside a good method after root canal?

my tooth discoloured (slightly) when i first had the root canal a few weeks ago, now it seems ok - was the discolourment of the tooth sign it was still infected?, thanks for the help.

I have an appointment tomorrow at the dentist and I must admit that I am scared to death. I have to have extensive dental work done and they are giving me Halcion to take one hour before my appointment. I was wondering if anyone has used this, how long it lasted and what else you can tell me about the experience with it. Also, if you have any other suggestions to help me with the fear (or pain!) please let me know. Thanks! From one giant chicken!!! HA HA

You're either a Crest person or a Colage person. Kinda like how you're either a Pepsi drinker or a Coca-Cola drinker. I'm Colgate and Coca-Cola. What are you?

No pain or sensitivity (yet). I'm not insured, would this be very expensive to get checked out? What dental plan would you suggest (I'm a VET)? Thanks!
