Also, say that there was all kinds of stuff all over your teeth...like peanut butter, cookie crumbs, all that stuff. Do you think he would ask you to go home and brush your teeth first? And if he did ask that, what if you comepletely lost your cool and said.."What am I paying you for...dentist?" And say your were real hateful and degrading, too. And then what if you started crying? Do you think he would feel bad? Would you be worried that when you were crying so hard that, your bad breath would bother him?

I get my teeth cleaned reguarly, no one has said anything (but most people won't) no one looks funny or moves away, but I have smelled bad breath on other people and they just talk away and have no clue that their breath is offensive. I don't want to be one of those people. How can I check my breath?

Also when you picked it out of there, it just kept on coming. The more you picked out of there, the more that was there. I would keep all of it. Imagine having an endless supply of belly button lint

I feel kinda silly for asking this because I should know but I also dont wanna ask the people at work because I feel a little ridiculous for asking. My tooth number 10. in the front, 2nd on the left, had been shaved down by the dentist a couple months ago, dont know why. It hurt so I went back and she put a filling over it. The filling wasnt sealed so I went back, she sealed it, now one week later its become unattached, hurts like hell. Im scared to go back to her because shes very rough and rude and broke my other tooth last time I asked her to fix this tooth. Because of ins. I cant go see another dentist for that particular tooth for 2 years...bs i know. I am afraid if I go see her for this she will break my # 8, which is open right now from a root canal and very fragile. What are my options? Should I try her again? Make a compaint about having this same tooth fixed from her mistakes 4 times?

I went to the dentist for a couple fillings, and they had to numb me three times. The first two times it felt like it just numbed my tongue and nothing else. I had to get one more so that it would numb my teeth as well, but even that didn't do it. Half my face and almost my entire tongue was numb, but I didn't want to get another shot because last time the numbness lasted forever. Now the anesthetic is wearing off, and I can only taste with like one or two certain parts of my tongue, the rest is nothing. Is this normal?

I am a smoker and a drinker of red wine. (Sorry if this offends you in any way) My teeth and gums are in good condition but I would like them to be a little whiter.

I brush regularly using an electric toothbrush and well known brand of toothpaste. Any advice would be appreciated. Many Thanks

I don't know who told me this, but I have heard that if you put your tooth in a glass of soda, it will melt! Is this true? What other "unusual" things would your tooth melt in?

I am 30 and still have my wisdom teeth. Within the last 2 days I have extreme left sided jaw pain when I open and close my mouth with or without food, there is no direct pain on the teeth and the gum surrounding the tooth is fine. I think I might have TMJ but it is only slightly responsive to ibuprofen. Any ideas, I am generally pretty healthy...
