I don't think the tooth underneath it is wobbly, it's not a baby tooth/milk. I recently lost the tooth behind it and another tooth is growing just fine there, but I think there's another one growing on top of the one in front of it.

My mom just got like metal upper partials and she is going on a airplane for the first time and is worried she will have to take her teeth out or have her mouth examined(shes self conscious about them). Will she even beep through the metal detectors, or what should she know about the airport security.

I brush my teeth 2 times a day and I floss every day, yet somehow every time I go to the dentist I have yet another cavity! What is going on here!?! I suspect that I have a very thin or weak layer of enamel on my teeth which would account for my lack of protection against cavities, but I really have no idea. What can I do?

Ok, i'm 24 and getting a cavity drilled tommorow. I've never had a cavity before and not tottally sure what to expect. To be honest, i don't like the idea of haveing a needle jammed into my gums. How bad does it hurt without the novacaine?

And do you think I am too old to get them? I am 23 years old, but I can afford them now, and was planning to get them put on this month. Just curious of how many adults get them.

ok look if ur gonna leave smart *** comments, dont comment!! Ive had this problem for a couple of years now and it really pisses me off. I went to my doctor and he prescribed me some nasal spray because i have nasal congestion and post nasal drip. It didnt work. So i got refered to an ENT, he said nothing is wrong its just the lining of my nose it gets inflamed, thats why i get the stuffy nose. He prescribed me flonase and also said for me to use a salin spray for my post nasl drip. OK back to the main problem, my breath is just bad. I always feel like somethin is on the back of my tounge, like a bad smell in the back of my mouth. I dont even need to talk and it stinks. I tried everything. I scraped my tongue, i used mouthwash, i floss, i used peroxide, therabreath, profresh,. I just need some other suggestions.

What does it look like behind the tooth/veneer?

Are they just like squarish shaped plates that go on the front?
Can the pieces of teeth that are left rot, or move, making your veneers change position?

Do they have to sand off a lot of your tooth or are there any that just fit over?
Also what about these things called "caps" Where do you get those. You know like what Robin Williams snaps on in Mrs Doubtfire, then they fall off into the glass lol. What are they and do they actually exist as an option?

-Sorry for all the questions. Please answer as many as possible.
I love picking best answers! but usually don't get any good ones. Someone must know? ;-)
