gums don't grow back; however, they can keep getting lower over time. If this happens they will become very sensitive. The only way to repair gum loss is surgery - I believe they take tissue from the top of your mouth and put it where needed - but that is only for really bad damage.

Nope, Sorry. Once you lose any gum, if you aren't very careful, it will lead to further gum loss and most people call this Gingivitis or Peridontal Disease. It never grows back and if you don't have enough 'gum' there left, it won't even hold a set of false teeth! I know, gross, but true.. my Father had his pulled, and they said you better do it now, or you won't have any gum left to hold onto the falsies.

If your gums are receding, you need a dentist quickly. You probably have gingivitis. You need an under the gum cleaning.

Typically, no. Some dentists and periodontists can perform grafting procedures to try and restore some height of tissue, but results can vary significantly.

no. gums are not regenerative. however, they won't get any worse.
