No you just sit there and the doctor glues all the appliances into place is very 80's TODAY expensive are the visits to the fact there are plastic jelly see through grills you can pop into place take them off or take with you add wear them to sleep. First they make a plaster model of the teeth very much for the before casting and the next thing you know it is painless. Elect to get a waterpick and get to floss and brush all you need to avoid pin holes. I have lots of pin holes now and I note it to my careless ways when I had the moving and shifting of the braces over a year. Me and the Doctor both came to a point the fact I did not keep up the checking appointments that the braces had to come off. It was free on my parents insurance by the way. It was a help to my headaches and I really needed to smile and it helped on a few jobs in the smile area...Enjoy cut up your apples kiss and do anything a normal person does. Except enjoy gum and hard candy. You will be fine.....

No, you will not be put to sleep. Just some shots to nu,b your gums. I was given a pill to take like 30 minutes b4 the got started on my teeth(to help reduct the saliva).
It took about an hour and i felt a little pain. Yes it will hurt during and after for like 3 days.
Call your local orthadontist.

Not that I have ever heard of. They need your co-operation to get the brackets positioned properly. Your jaw will be sore and tired after from holding it open for so long and your teeth may be sensitive from the wires shifting them slowly. Ibuprofen or tylenol is usually enough to control this. Each adjustment made my teeth sore for a few days but it was well worth the end result.

No, you won't need that. The procedure is not painful, they just put bracketts on your teeth and thats done with dental cement. You will not have any pain, believe me.

No they wont...
But dont worry there is no pain, all they are going to do is glue some little blocks on to your teeth to run the wire through!
I had them and it dosn't hurt at all.

Nopee. They actually let me watch them do it. It doesn't hurt @ all when they do it, but make sure to take an advil or something before you get them on. Your teeth most likely will hurt 2 night.

I doubt they will, putting braces on is normally painless (or almost).
