Someone has informed you wrong, ^^^^ up there in their response...
Actually Porcelain does stain, over time... And Porcelain crowns are non-bleachable. No matter what you do. Ask ANY dentist and they'll tell you the same.... Sorry! If it bothers you that much, you'll have to get a new one.
If its a back tooth, why bother no one sees it. If its a front tooth... thats your only option... getting a new one.

Permanent porcelain crowns do not discolor and do respond to whitening. Maybe your teeth adjacent to the crown have gotten whiter and the crown color no longer matches. If you have an old plastic crown, those will discolor. In that case you would have to have the crown replaced with a porcelain one that will match.
A tooth colored filling will discolor in time and can be replaced fairly easily. Are you sure it was a crown and not a filling? At any rate, I would have the dentist check it out.
Hope this helps and good luck!

All I can say is DO NOT USE COMET! I saw a lady who did this and she wore the porcelain right off her crowns. Tsk, tsk. She needed some new ones after that.
