There is a fantastic homoeopathic remedy called Propolis, it's extracted from bees wax and clears mouth ulcers up in no time at all, you can buy it from Ainsworths Homoeopathic Pharmacy in West London, the number is 0207 935 5330. If you don't live in London, simply phone them up and they can post it to you. I have recommended it for about the last 6 years - it really does work. Other helpful tips are using a salt water mouth wash and Bonjela gel also works, but Propolis is the best by far. Hope they clear up soon, they can be bloody painful.

I would take a good look at your curent diet and re-assess your dietary requirements beased on your lifestyle, age, general well being and sex.

It may well be a case where you are falling short of certain essential micro nutrients, vitamins or even trace elements, such as, zinc and selenium.

Try eating a wide array of different foods. Try incorporating dark vegetables into your current diet, such as asparagus, brocolli, spinach, peas.

If the ulcers are a result of an immune response or degenration of your immune system; then try eating fruits rich in antioxidants, such as, blueberries, strawberries.

Hope you feel better soon.

As Kevin said mouth ulcers occur becuase of bad stomach. Please consult a doctor as you may be having worms. Unless this is treated, mouth ulcers would not heel.

Meantime, take half-a-teaspoon of olive oil and boil it to the lukewarm stage. Apply this in your mouth. If you do not get olive oil, simply buy glycerine from the chemist shop and apply the same.

Whisky, take a small mouthful and hold it in your mouth for a few mins. You can then swallow it or spit it out, your ulcers will not sting again and will heal up quicker.

Trust the luckyhedgehog, it does work!

If you want to get rid of it really quickly, put neat salt on it and hold it there for as long as you can bear the stinging - wake up next morning with no ulcer. That's what my mum taught me and it has never let me down.
