I have had it for a few weeks now and it's making me feel like I am sick. I only have it on one side of my throat. Is there any medication to get rid of them or is it something I am going to have to wait out?

For a permanent solution get your tonsils removed. Otherwise use the end of your tooth brush and flick them out. It is built up old food and bacteria. Smells nasty and is tonsiliths. See an ENT

I am a dentist, and I get tonsil stones all the time. There isn't medication to get rid of them, you have to pick them out yourself. I usually just use my finger (after washing with antibacterial soap). You gotta tough it out and try not to gag, but it can be done

I'm a dentist, not an ENT, so I don't know for sure.

As far as I know, there's no medication for it. They must be removed, although there is a good possibility that the ENT will remove your tonsils as well.

Not medication, but you can go to a dentist or pharmacist and ask for an oral syringe. (They'll probably give you one for free.) Then you can squirt the hole with warm water to see if you can flush it out. There's a curved oral syringe with a small tip that might be especially helpful. Good luck!
