Sometimes at night ill be sleeping or laying down for a awhile and then ill straighten my leg and then all of a sudden it feels like ive torn my calf and my calf tightens up hard as a rock and hurts like hell and it usually does that for a couple of minutes. Then it hurts for me to walk on it for a couple of days, it doesnt hurt to move with it, but it feels like im stretching it when i walk. its the calf thats on the inside of your leg(whenever you put your legs together they touch) that calf, i dont know the names of the two different muscles. Im only 17 and im very athletic, so im scared that if this keeps happening something might go badly wrong. so could somebody please tell me why this happens or what i could do about it? thanks

I'm 20 years ol and i have high risk hpv. i had another papsmear and it got just a LITTLE bit better, i still have one more papsmear to take? if it got just a little better do i still have a big chance of getting cervical cancer? Out of the percentage of people that do have hpv does it usually go away or no

I would prefer that a medical professional OR someone who actually uses birth control could answer this question.

When you begin taking the inactive pills (the ones that will start your period), your period still takes a day or so to start. Is that because the birth control is still in your system? During that time where you're not on your period but you're taking inactive pills, are you still protected from getting pregnant?

Both the pains are not constant but recurring and unrelated.
Sternum pain goes away after I manage to crack it. But I can't always crack and it can be very painful.
My right shoulder/back muscle sometimes becomes very painful, like I'm being stabbed with a knife and the skin around that area eventually feels numb. Moving my arm hurts and I have to hold it at a particular angle so that it won't hurt. This pain lasts anywhere from a few hours to a week. I've noticed that I got the shoulder pains after long shifts working as a waitress, going to the gym or sitting for prolonged hours infront of the computer.
Can this be solved by massage, a chiropractor or maybe acupuncture? Would the results be temporary?
I would be grateful for any recommendations!

I am 15 and just got my period. My first period was really light. I didn't really think that was my period. But, this month, i got heavy periods. The first one was brown and very dark, and after 7 days, i thought it stopped. But, 3 days or so after, i got my period again, but this time, it was really red, like blood. Is this normal?

This resturant where I live is not closing down they have had 2people break out with staph and won't shut down they just keep letting people work and the customers are eating..and i need some help finding out where i can report them to..so some action can be taken...the resturant name is called...Perkins and it's 1121 E Main in Blytheville,Arkansas the phone# is 870-763-6797...if anybody can help me it would be great...oh yea..the females have had the infection they just didn't know it and found out today and was allowed to continue working..and everyone there have probably been infected by now..because it has just been brought to there attention... 2 years ago i was 17 and weighed 167 pounds. today i was weighed and my wieght has dropped to 150 pounds at a height of 6 feet and 1 inch. now i know the cause of my weight lost is lack of eating (healthy foods or not). so i know i must eat healthy. but at the same time i want to start lifting weights to build muscles. so will protein shakes aid me in my quest of building uscles and also gaining weight at the same time or will protien shakes cause weight losee because i dont know really what they are used for?

i'm 8 days late, i feel fine, i have had sex 3 times since my last period, none in the last month and my bf used a condom all 3 times. recently, i've been extremely stressed out, probably hte most i've ever been stressed in my life. could this be why my period is late? it can't be pregnancy caue of Depo and condom use..just wondering if it could be stress.

I took the 4 at one time chlamydia pills, how long do I have to wait until I will be cured of it and be able to conceive or have unprotected sex with birth control or sperm killing creme?

How long could I try to have unprotected sex if I had taken the 1 pill for 7 days pills?

I've just recovered from a common cold with a cough which caused my muscles in my chest area to really hurt, just before this I had some anxiety too which made me tremble sometimes without me even wanting to so I also think this has had an effect on my chest also. I have mostly recovered from the cold now and the stress is going but i've been left with really achy muscles around the chest area, particually around my left side.
What are good methods to help muscles relax and get back to normal, I've been off college because of the soreness I've been in. I prefer sprays than taking tablets, any recomendations?

i think it might be fractured right now, im not sure.
if u read my other question, you would know what i am talking about.

i want to break it. because, as messed up as it is, i think putting it in a cast would make it feel batter. i know there could be complications, but to me, its worth it. i want a cast so i can fix it & it wouldnt hurt so bad.

what are some simple ways u broke ur wrist or someone u know broke theirs? or just some ways? please help

i dont like the whole "brick to your wrist" idea. it would be kind of hard to explain to my parents how a brick "fell" on my wrist

&no im not crazy & dont need to be institutionalized
