i know i had Lyme disease and they found it by doing a biopsy. i was put on antibiotics. if untreated you can wind up with other neurological diseases.

It depends on if they do other tests. Many times when testing for Lyme, they do a full CBC (complete blood count) which may show up other issues as well. But the Lyme test is a titer specifically for Lyme (2 time loser here!).

It does depend if they are doing other tests. When I got tested...they didn't no what was wrong with me. They tested my for lyme disease, cancer, rocky mountain spotted fever, and a whole bunch of other things. In all though I had 40 tubes that they tested to see what it was. It ended up being JIA. Juvenial Idiopathic Arthritis.
