I've just recovered from a common cold with a cough which caused my muscles in my chest area to really hurt, just before this I had some anxiety too which made me tremble sometimes without me even wanting to so I also think this has had an effect on my chest also. I have mostly recovered from the cold now and the stress is going but i've been left with really achy muscles around the chest area, particually around my left side.
What are good methods to help muscles relax and get back to normal, I've been off college because of the soreness I've been in. I prefer sprays than taking tablets, any recomendations?

There's a pain reliever cream called Deep Heat, rub your chest to relief the pain until you fully recover,it also comes in a spray container.

I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation and asking them if you can use a warm wet face towel to the area or something similar to the Icy Hot to see if that helps ease some of your pain.
