I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I have had a herpes culture done but haven't gotten the results. I have a blister outbreak in my labia and I'm just wondering if it is herpes how can it affect my baby being that this is the first time I experience this?

I have suffered with chronic back and neck pain for years. When I was 12 I was in a bad accident. It busted my tail bone and hurt my back. I remember that the doctor told my parents that I shouldn't have any problems with it until later in life, he gave me a back brace, and that was all of it. Well, now I'm 32 and its come back to haunt me in the worst way. Sometimes I think that being dead would be better then having to deal with this constant pain every single day! Surgery is not an option right now because I am supporting myself and my son and I can't take the time off from work. How can I get my doctor to give me a good pain pill?! I have never asked for any before but it seems that doctors these days don't want to prescribe them. But I REALLY need them. I'm not a pill head. I'm in pain? What do I say to the doctor? Any suggestions?

I have been eating 4 slices of bread and the following stuff inbetween it
cucumbers/tomatoes/latice and i put ketchup/tomato sauce or maybe salad cream


i don`t want my mom to cook for me anymore cos i prefere this kind of stuff
i started to eat like this on thursday last week
I lost my appetite 6months ago

I have glasses and im near sited and have stigmatism in both eyes. My mom and dad said I could get contacts if I could figure out if they make any that are for both. If there is could you maybe put in the brand? if you cant thats ok I just need a yes or no ASAP.

I went to my doctor about a month ago and he gave me a referral to a psychiatrist, I told him about my OCD and how I am depressed off and on...at the time it was'nt bad, but after that and now its getting worse and worse. I don't know what to do...I phoned the doctors office and the lady confirmed the psychiatrist office received the referral and would give me a call when they can take me as they a busy. She said she can't give me a name, address, phone number or anything.

So should I go back to the doctor, or just wait?

I'm scared to go on medication because I don't want to be a fake happy, I want to find out what's bothering me and truly make myself happy. I don't want to be happy but with all the same things in my life that once made me depressed...get what I mean?

OK so this guy that I have as a friend with benefits deal going on with did something I don't understand. We both agreed that I would come over to his place and do what we do. After that happened I was supose to leave because both of us had stuff to do. Well we did our thing and I got dressed and was getting ready to leave and all of a sudden he wants me to stay and talk. So i stay and hang out for probably 45 min. and then I was like I better go. So I get in my car leave and get a text message from him saying " I got this wierd vibe when you left... I don't want it to be ackward." SO i call him back, no answer so i leave a message and said I was tired and on meds and we both agreed to me leaving. what is this guy thinking or what did he mean by doing this? I like clear communication I thought we were clear with each other on this. Just a background we have been friends for 2 years and 5 months ago it started to develope in to friends with benefits

ok so ive supposed to be wearing glasses since i was 8, but i never even tryed them on. my parents keep saying "we'll get you contacts if you wear glasses for a few months first" but i cant do that!!! i refuse to wear them and at first i could handle now wearing then but now when i look at the board its so blurry sometimes it looks like the words arnt even there even if im in the 2nd row, and i get headaches all the time now and im getting bad grades because i cant see the stupid board. i can not live another day with these headaches from straining my eyes! i need contacts NOW! literally, like within the next week. how can i convince my parents when my mom is reallyyy stubborn ( my dad doesnt care too much tho)? plz help me

1. I was told by my mother that when you start using birth control, you have to wait until your next period and use it on the sunday precedingthe beginning of your period. Is this true? Or can I take it on any sunday and be just as fine?

2. I know that birth control takes about a month to regulate in your body. If I start taking it on a sunday around 3:00 p.m., and have sex the following wednesday after taking the pill and not using a condom, how protected am I?
(I know that I am never really fully protected unless I am not having sex at all, but I just was wondering if the chances are just as high as if I had never taken birth control at all. I know I should be using a condom with or without birth control, so there is no need to tell me all that. I would just like a simple answer of if there is a high risk of getting pregnant or not.)

I have quite bad pronation of my ankles (due to Marfan syndrome) and I'm waiting to see the podiatrist to get some prescription insoles made for my shoes. The waiting list is currently about 11 months long. Is there anything I can do in the meantime? I have some shop-bought inserts, but they don't work very well. Sometimes my ankles get really sore because of this. Recently I've started having problems with my hips as well and I'm sure the fact that I don't walk properly doesn't help.

So everyone knows mental health is a big issue, right? I mean, even if it's deep, deep down inside of you, you still know there are millions of people out there suffering from mental problems. But what about the people who don't care? What's stopping them from taking an interest or showing some empathy? How the hell can they be blissfully happy every goddam day of their lives when they still know people are hurting? It just makes me so mad, that people out there are suffering from real pain every day of their lives and there are still tons of people who don't give a damn. What the hell is wrong with this world? Why can't people see how much anger and hurt there is? Every single person will be affected by some sort of mental issue (even if it's a friend or family) so what the hell's stopping them from caring? It's messed up.

I have to get a wisdom tooth out next week, because its biting down on the inside of my cheek and is sore. I never got a tooth out before so I'm terrified of it. Also, I don't want to be put to sleep. I hate the idea of that because I like to be aware of my suroundings at all times. And some people have said that the dentist gives you some pain killers afterwards. Only...i have a problem when it comes to taking pills. I cant take them. Is there any chance you can get some sort of liquid medication instead? And will it hurt getting the tooth pulled?

I have recently started researching birth controls. I am a 21, sexually active, college student. I went to my doctor to get suggestions and she seemed to busy to really give me my time. She suggested seasonique, but I read about it and just wasnt impressed. I work full time and go to school full time and realllllly dont have time to make another appt. I realize i should go through my doctor but I was hoping someone could take from their experiences and help me!

I have irregular periods. Sometimes too heavy, sometimes really light, sometimes 3 days, sometimes 7. I skip periods all the time. I have bad cramping. And I am usually extremely moody. Most of the time my energy is so drained the first couple of days of my period that I usually just lay in bed. If any of you are the same way, what birth control did your doctor put you on?

oK, i am 14 years old, and I AM POSITIVE THAT I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WITH ANYONE!! trust me. i just started getting my period, like what? in the beginning of july, then i had it like two times in august, once in september, and i haven't got it since! i did fast ramadan from like september 13- october 13. I was stressing a little b/c i had a D+ in Geometry and i had only ONE chance to pull it up to a C. But that was about 2 weeks ago! i do get that discharge thingy everyday. I don't know, i am kind of nervous to ask my mom, one on one. Even though i know that i didn't have any sexual contact with anyone! so please, tell me, what is wrong if you know!
