Chocolate cannot cause worms unless it has worm eggs in it. This rumor sounds like a belief in spontaneous generation. This belief has since been discarded by science as some used to believe that dust caused mice to suddenly appear and meat made maggots magically appear. It is impossible. The same with chocolate.
