Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gives you fuel to get throughout the day and you don't end up overeating.
As soon as you're ready in the morning to eat breakfast. . . eat. . . you slept all night on an empty stomach.

Wait till your brain wakes up so after 10 minutes. Maybe its hard to eat breakfast because the selection is more limited, there are time constraints and you're just not hungry yet.

I know that half the time the thought of food in the morning makes me sick. What I've started doing is grabbing a bagel or granola bar and eating it when I get to my office (after a 30 minute bus ride). I still have breakfast, I just delay it until I feel like I want to eat.

The meaning of breakfast is breaking the fast. Your body has been fasting for 8 (or so) hours It needs the food to get restarted. You don't need to eat as soon as you get up and it doesn't have to be an extravagant meal. I cant east for a good hour or I will feel sick for the rest of the day. Just get something that's nourishing and light to start you off:)

Because you're still half asleep. Usually if I eat that early, I can't even taste what I'm eating and I feel like throwing up. I'm usually fine an hour afterwards.

Take a shower first and wake up then eat.
A shower in the morning is really refreshing and a great way to get moving.

i wake up at 6:00 am and i can't usually stomach anything until about 8:00 am. somepeople just can't eat right when they wake up, makes them sick.
