I stopped eating pork about a month ago. I thought that I could be content just eating chicken, fish, and beef, but yesterday, I was eating a cheeseburger and when I got down to the last few bites I found myself staring at the burger. All I could hear was "mooooo". I could see the cow blinking it's big eyes at me. I'm not crazy and my food doesn't usually look at me, but right then I decided that I didn't want anything that once had eyes in my mouth or in my stomach. If it had parents, I can't eat it!! I don't want to say that I'm a "vegetarian", but I really don't want to eat any meat. It seems gross. I'd like to know how some other people decided to become vegetarians and how it has benefited them.

why do some people think they are vegetarians even if they eat seafood. i don't understand. just because it lives in the ocean, does that not make it an animal or is it not meat? what about the vegetarians that say, "I only eat red meat"? I don't get it. vegetarian means no meat, no animals

I'm trying to find the most vegan birth control besides hysterectomy, abstinence, condoms, or IUD. Of course, hormonal ones are tested on animals.
Am I completely out of luck? I'm thinking about herbal options, perhaps?
***No smartass meat-earter comments. If you're not veg, you should go to a different topic.***

I'm vegan and I have raised my own honey for many years. It is not exploitation. Good beekeepers never take enough to hurt the bees. I saw someone say something about the production of honey killing bees, not true.

Did you know that honeybees would probably go extinct because of the verroa mite without beekeepers? Humans have been keeping honeybees for so long that they have developed a tight relationship. If we let the honeybees drop in population you can say good buy to allot of the fruit and veggies that you eat. Almost all almond production would stop.

Bee keeping is a gentle working with nature. You provide housing, protection from the mite, and sometimes even food in rough winters. The bee doesn't miss the small amount of honey that you take.

I know the technical definition of being vegan doesn’t allow the eating of honey but no vegan should feel guilty for eating it.
