Sweetie, at the age you are now, rather than go on a diet, eat more healthy food, drink water more often, and become more active. maybe get yourself into a gym, and begin some training.. you will tone up nicely, and in the process, perhaps lose some weight. You are 5'7" and weigh 104.. that is nothing to be concerned about.
Just get into some enjoyable physical programs, and go for it!

If you were too look at the new table you are underweigth base on 5'7 you can easily weight 145-155 and still be normal weight. I think you are boderline of having an eating disorder and dying to be thin. You dont need to lose any weight at all. Just be careful, and I hope being 13yrs of age you are not feeling any pressure from your peers or trying to look like th anorexic models on the magazines..

You are already underweight for your height. I stopped growing at 5'8" and when I first hit that height I was about 108; I was so skinny that I got callouses on my back from the chairs in school rubbing against the knobs of my spine. When I graduated high school I was up to about 116 and I was still scrawny. I know how skinny you are and you'd be crazy to try to lose any more weight!
You're a growing girl (even if you've topped out height-wise, which is possible.) You need to concentrate on eating enough calories and nutrients to fuel your maturing body (not to mention your brain!) Trying to lose weight when you're already underweight is just going to make you unhealthy. Please take care of yourself!

I just have one suggestion as to what not to include. Try to restrict milk (and dairy products) as much as possible. Don't let yourself be fooled by the 'Got milk' ad. Quite contrary to the common belief milk is quite unhealthy - thanks to the modern techniques for milking. Many studies suggest that milk contains many pus cells (sorry if I grossed you out but thats a fact) and actually causes osteoporosis and many other diseases.. don't want to ramble on but if further interested I can provide enough references to back up.. Take soy products which are 100 times better..good luck

My wife is vegan, is 5'0" tall, weighs 102, and she wears size 0. I hate to inform you, but if you are at that weight yourself and you are 5'7", then you are UNDERWEIGHT! They don't make clothes any smaller than size 0, in case you didn't know this. If you are vegetarian to lose weight you are giving vegetarians a bad name.
You are too young to be ruining your health and possibly your life by trying to be skinnier than Paris Hilton. Personally, I think she's disgustingly skinny. Do you need to be in that crowd????
If you are living on potato chips and salads no wonder you are having fainting spells. What you need is not less food but the right food. Beans. Tofu. Whole grain. Fruit. Leafy greens. Nuts.

Make sure you drink a lot of water every day. 8-10 glasses. Also, do not eat after 8pm on any given day. You should not have to diet to take off any weight if you do these two things.

No. no diet is safe for you at your height and weight. If you want to tone up your body, I'd reccomend actually eating a little red meat for the protein. But more dieting? no way.

13 years old and you are on diet????!!! Your whole body is still growing. But one thing I want to say is eat healthy.
Avoid fried foods, sodas, sweets, pastries..etc.
Keep handful of fresh fruits and vegetable handy.
Drinks lots of water.
Exercise such as a short walk after meals.
There are alot of ways to eat healthy instead of dieting.
Dieting is a harmful way to loose weight.
Eat alot of nutritious dense food (they are bigger in portion with less calories)

Oh my goodness you dont need to loose weight but you can really go on a liquid diet like soups and smoothies and things I went on one just for a day and I lost 8 pounds but that may not happen to you I dont even know why it happened to me
