Me and my family were at a restaurant enjoying some geniune family time together and group of vegetarians sitting beside us at the restuarant made some rude comments to us. They kept calling us murderers simply because we were enjoying a steak dinner.

Is it right for vegetarians to look down on you just because you eat a well balanced diet?

As a vegetarian I am trying to increase my protein intake and was told to try soy products. I'm not sure what to try first - soy milk, soy burgers, tofu, etc...

I am a new vegetarian and I was wondering if anyone had any tips and food shopping advice? I am 17. I usually bring my lunch to school, anything on what I could bring as a lunch? I would also like some recipes or some sites with recipes.

Also, if I get chips how do I know if they have any animal product in it? I heard some chips do.

And what type of vegetarian would I be? No meat but diary (no eggs). I eat fish though, is that considered a meat?

Thanks for any advice!

Help! An old friend from childhood is coming into town for a visit. I invited her and her husband for a dinner party but they're VEGAN! I just learned this yesterday and I have until Saturday to come up with a vegan dinner. Any ideas for apps, entrees, and dessert?

I'm 4 wks pregnant. I'm vegan and my doctor told me to eat at least 70 grams of protein per day. I have no problem finding foods that contain ample amounts of protein. However, I'm having trouble eating SO much food each day to accomplish the 70 grams of protein. I feel stuffed all the time and I don't like the feeling. I tend to just eat when I'm not hungry in order to get the appropriate amount, but I'm worried because my weight shouldn't be too much too soon. How do I go about this?

Nice Guy Wrote in a previous question: “Matt has basically stated that animals are equally important as humans. I'm sorry, but no animals life has as much importance or relevance as that of a human. For one to think that an animals life is just as important as his own is absurd. Can anyone possibly believe that the life of a pig, cow, or chicken can even compare to the life of a human being?”

How do you feel about this? Does an animal's interest in living have any weight in our deciding how we treat said animal? How is an animal's interest in continued existence qualitatively any different than our own?

I'm not trying to give Nice Guy a hard time, I just think this is something that should be discussed, and his answer provides a good starting point.

Hi, does anyone know of a store that sells vegetarian marshmallows in the UK? I know some online stores do it, but it would be much more convenient for me to just buy it from a local shop. (Asda? Tesco? Sainsburys?)
Any advice appreciated. Thanks. =)

It seems to me that vegans want there beliefs to be tolerated and accepted yet they give the beliefs of others no cosideration and act as though others opionions are entirely without merit.

And before any of you accuse me of being a "Troll", or whatever the flavor of the day is that you choose to call those that disagree with you, understand that I am a vegetarian.
