my fridge got really cold n ive had the lettuce for at least a month - its still crisp, green & yellow & white...well its mainly yellow and white because its the core of the head of lettuce but is it safe to eat or should i throw it out?

I'm going against the grain on this one...after a MONTH? I would not eat it. It's not supposed to last that long. But since it did last under your refrigerator's super cold temperatures, it probably won't taste right. I've had lettuce that was slightly frozen in a refrigerator and it was awful.
If you're really wanting to save and eat this, wash it well and taste just a little of it to see if it's still reasonably edible.

sounds like someone used a LOT of pesticides. i would wash it thoroughly with warm water but you can still eat it.

it sounds fine to me, i would probably eat it, just wash it really good
