We humans harvest crops - whether early or late, its still killing.

God has given humans canines amongst tooth types.

Canines are ment for the adaptation to eating meat.

Our digestive system right throught the intestines an adaptation behaviour between carnivoris and hebivorous (we are omnivoris) - read about the different lengths of intestines for each, you will find our type inbetween herb/canivoris

i know that meat should be eaten in moderation these days - my point is that your reason for being vegetarian is to aviod killing - the veg you eat also has life.

I'm looking for ingredients for a light taco or a vegetarian taco. Doesn't have to be low-calorie but I'm looking for something no so heavy. Currently thinking of jicama the potato like tuber and avocado as ingredients.

I would like to become vegetarian, or at the very least, stop eating red meat. My only problem with this is that my fiance doesn't want anything to do with my decision. Which is fine, it's his choice. The thing is, he doesn't even want to support me, and always wants me to make him meat "on the side" if I'm making a veggie-friendly meal. Or, if I'm making chicken, he complains and says he wants "real meat, not filler". Currently, we're both living with our parents, but we're planning to move out over the summer and I'm worried that our mealtime differences will become a bigger issue once we're living together.

Has anyone else experienced this? How did you resolve this problem?

On an average day, for lunch, I will eat:
1 cereal-sized bowl of salad
an orange or apple
1 cereal-bowl sized portion ofSteamed vegetables, (carrots, green & wax beans, sometimes cauliflower or broccolli in there too) or a less than-cereal-sized bowl of pasta.
Celery, and water.
On some days I will eat 3 or 4 crackers and some peanut butter, but only if I'm really hungry or forgot to eat breakfast ;)
It is unfortunate that my school does not provide many vegetarian dishes that are not pre-packaged. ( I will not use styrofoam )

Also, would you eat meat from an animal that died of "natural" or accidental causes and didn't suffer?

I thought your suppose be open minded but seem just closed minded as people your against not believing fact and denying any who does not agree with you. Most of sites and information you post that say vegans diet better are not very credible and very biased. I love how seem to say meat-eaters when no one just eat meat they eat balance diet of meat and veggies. Also saying meat is bad because American are fat and have health problems from it. Which mostly is only an American problem because your mass consumer society and people eat more than they should. Also Most of world does not live in American by the way so that statics does not have large enough variable to be proven correct. How is that fact that save certain amount animals a year ? Yours society already killed animals before you ate them so regardless your actions there still dead.

I recently went vegetarian and now eat no meat or milk products. Through my new way of shopping I've discovered Tofu " burgers ", Soy " milk " drink, Soy " ice cream ", etc.

I am fine with and have been enjoying this new vegetarian way of eating. The one food I do miss though is cottage cheese. I used to eat it as a snack with a variety of stirred in items at different times such as raisens, cinnamon, salsa or peaches etc.

I've discovered different Soy and Tofu products that are produced to be like other food I used to eat . . . Is there a Soy or Tofu product out there that mimics cottage cheese ?
.

to eat plants, but not animals? Aren't they all living organisms? Why is it morally OK to eat a tomato but not a chicken. They were both once alive. Where does the line get drawn, is it because the animals have a brain and walk around? Help me out here.

My son is 10 years old and is very pickey. He has been declining meat since he was 2. He really doesn't like beans either. We just had a family get together on Sunday with plenty of Barbeque ribs and chicken, there was also fried fish. He wouldn't touch any of it, he only ate baby carrots. I don't know how to make sure he's getting the nutricion and protiens he needs because I don't have contact with any vegetarians to ask what would be good to feed him. He did try vegetarian bacon the day before and liked it, but I can't give him that every morning. What are some other things a child might like that would supply his body with what it needs?

My son currently only drinks non-dairy formula. He is at step 2 for solids. I've mainly been giving him rice cereal, fruits, veggies, oatmeal and then formula. I've been told that babies need whole milk not only for calcium but because the fat in it helps with motor skills or something like that. We are also trying to stay as fresh and raw as possible as well. What would a daily diet look like for him? How does the food pyramid look for our lifestyle? Thanks!
