Corn is a vegetable with high levels of starch and some pysllium while Potatos are starch and Potassium! Corn starts out as a grain but becomes a vegetable. Some say it
always a grain! There is no starch family. Starch comes from a grain or else sprout as in the Potato! A Plant with almost no starch is the Banana.. it's mostly Potassium!

Corn is a vegetable and not a fruit, because you are eating the seeds. It contains high levels of starch. As opposed to other things where the starch may be more broken down.

There is no starch family but there are starchy foods. Corn is a grain.

Corn is a grain that is sometimes cooked as if it was a veggie. It is like the fruit, tomato it is also cooked like a veggie.
