I'm not very fond of eating meat, and sometimes I find myself not eating any at all. It's not because of the cruelty of animals even though that is sad, but because I don't like the taste or thought of eating something that was alive. Fish, turkey, and roast beef are pretty much the only meats I like. Will I be missing out on certain nutrients if I don't eat meat very often?

then if you put them into a regular coffee maker with a filter, wouldn't that make soy milk?

Hey, all, thanks for your previous help with my other questions.

I take a Centrum multivitamin religiously, I love them and they give me extra energy. On the vitamin fact on the side of the bottle, it says "Vitamin B12 6 mcg 100% Daily Value"

Is this all the B12 I need, or is this daily value assuming that I eat meat? Basing your judgment on an entirely vegan diet, of course.

Do you care about animals?
Do you care about the environment?
Do you care about other people?
What about your family’s health?
If the answer to any (or hopefully all)
of these questions is ‘YES’ then we will ask another question from you.

Ideally with shopping lists! I'm not too good at planning in advance! I don't mean a weight loss diet, more a lifestyle diet and cookery book. Thank you.

We juice raw kale every morning and have never felt better. Sometimes add celery or parsley, spinach. All organic. My neighbor says this is dangerous that if we dont mix it around we can develop a severe allergy to the one we have every day? is this really true? why? proven?

I am just trying to figure out how PETA people would answer these questions because I want to see how they think and operate. I'm not trying to be offensive and if any of these sound silly I apologize, but I’m giving PETA a chance to defend itself. I really am interested in what you have to say. (Please answer all of them)

1. If you had the chance to save 2 dogs or one person, which would you save? 10 dogs?

2. When a lion eats an antelope, isn't that bad?

3. If we killed all the lions wouldn't we save tons more animals?

4. On www.peta.org i found this in the faq section. "Helping animals is not any more or less important than helping human beings—they are both important." Now if x is not less than y and x is not greater than y, x must be equal to y. Does that mean PETA thinks the importance of helping animals (which was x) is equal to the importance of helping humans (y)?

5. Why does PETA tend to so frequently use the objectification of women to promote their ideas?

Thanks

Ok, I'm not a vegetarian and will continue to offer meat. In the meantime, what else should I offer to make sure he grows well. I am not about to accept his proclamation that he won't eat animals yet. I'd like him to reach at least 4 feet tall before I let him choose. Yes I am sarcastic and yes I am also serious. I love to eat meat and serve a portion every dinner and he is picky and way too smart for me to lie to.

Hi, all, thanks for your previous answers. I'm beginning to slowly eliminate all animal products from my diet, one day at a time. In the meantime, I'm learning more about what things I can add to my diet. However, I've haven't exactly shared this with my husband yet.

I'm not sure how to approach him with this, he's not mean or anything, but he does eat a lot of meat. I cook all the household meals. He is a kosher Jew, so I know he understand about not eating things for moral reasons, but he loves beef and chicken, shrimp, turkey...most everything animal.

What's a good way to approach him with the news? Does anyone have a similar situations, and if so, how do you live day to day with this issue?

Nearly everyone finds the taste of raw, unseasoned meat repulsive. I would conclude that man is not naturally adapted to eat meat.

I have been altering my eating habits to exclude red meat. I can tell that I am not getting enough protein (lethargy) but I have no idea how to increase my protein intake without adding a ton of calories or harmful byproducts with it. Any suggestions?

Yes I'm a vegan, but please, if you're not, don't put me down with cruel words. I'm new to this and I'm happy I finally came to my senses. Take a look at this sight of ingredients that has animal products in it! Amazing what we don't know!

Have you noticed that since becoming vegetarian/vegan, your periods have become a bit different than what they used to be? I absolutely LOVE the changes, but am just wondering if it's common... no more cramps, lighter flow, less or no PMS, voila!
