Yes I'm a vegan, but please, if you're not, don't put me down with cruel words. I'm new to this and I'm happy I finally came to my senses. Take a look at this sight of ingredients that has animal products in it! Amazing what we don't know!

I Love your enthusiasm !! I know this list and it is good one especially for people starting out .... sounds like so much to learn but as with anything overtime most of this will become second nature ... and gets easier and easier ..thanks

It's not so much the list of known animal ingredients that concerns me.

It's genetic engineering. How can I be vegan or even vegetarian if there are animal and human genes in my food?

Tomatoes spliced with animal genes to give it a "will to live."
