i was brought up to believe that you shouldnt kill something unless you were going to eat it. i am an omnivore and i often hunt and fish. if im not going to eat the fish i catch, ill turn them loose to love again. if i want game meat, ill go hunt it. but what i wont do is try to make someone change their way of eating. if you dont want to eat animal products, then dont. i personally choose to eat meat but i also love the good homegrown vegetables from my garden. does that make me a bad person? i think not.

I had to give up meat because of developing meat allergy. I still eat milk and diary products, eggs and similar.
My problem is: I'm SO sick of this type of food!!! I miss my meat! What can I do? They soy substitutes taste like crap. I'm trying to eat fish, but I never ate them before and I don't really like them.

are there any pre-packaged (frozen, canned, just-add-water) vegetarian meals that are low in fat, low in sodium, high in fiber, and taste good?

I was simply wondering what your thoughts on eggs are. Do you think that it is wrong for Vegetarians to eat eggs? Do you think it's the same as eating meat? Why?

And compared with the stuff you get in supermarkets, how long do these products last?
