Basically, use it like rice. Add vegetables to it, or eat it with sauce (whatever kind you like). If you eat eggs, egg-fried couscous is good - though the texture is a bit weird.
You can also add brown sugar and cinnamon and make it into a dessert! Or try fruit, maybe with cream (if you eat dairy), or soy cream, if you like that.

You said the magic word!!!
I love whole wheat couscous!!!! I love to make Breakfast Couscous!!!
Make it with soymilk, instead of water. Just heat the soy milk. Don't boil it. When it's good and hot, but NOT boiling, stir in your couscous. About 1 cup milk to 1/2 cup cous. Serving for two? Two cups soy milk and 1 cup cous.
I like to add raisins and chopped cashews. Add it just before you take it off the burner. So it gets warm but doesn't necessarily cook.
I also like to add cinnamon and ginger. Rather than sweeten with sugar, sweeten with maple syrup.
It should be a little "soupy" so you may need to add a little bit more soy milk.
Yum Yummy!

Try adding nuts like slivered almonds, cashews, or pistachios, dried fruits like sultanas (golden raisons), dried fuit such as: cranberries, cherries, apricot, or mango! Garnish with scallions. Season with salt and pepper and maybe add cumin if you like.
