Lacto Ovo Vegetarian
A lacto ovo vegetarian does not eat meat, fish or poultry, but eats eggs and milk. They eat eggs and products made with eggs in them, yogurt, cheese, milk and ice creams.
Lacto Vegetarian
A lacto vegetarian does not eat meat, fish, poultry or eggs, but includes dairy products in their diet. They will eat milk, ice cream (that does not include eggs), yogurt and cheese. They would avoid ice creams, baked goods, pancakes and veggie burgers that contain eggs
Vegan
A vegan does not eat any fish, meat, poultry, eggs, dairy products or foods that contain any of these products. They also do not use any non-food items that contain products from animals, including wool from sheep, leather and silk. Vegans often do not eat honey, because bees may be killed while harvesting it.
According to many vegans, it is pronounced VEE-gun. A vegan diet consists of vegetables, grains, beans, nuts, fruits and seeds. This diet tends to be high in fiber and moderate in protein and fat.
A vegan will not use margarine that has casein, a milk product, in it and they do not use shoes that are made from leather. Vegans do not eat white granulated sugar because it is often processed by using char derived from animal bones to whiten the sugar. They also do not use products that are tested on animals, as are many cosmetics.

I think your answer is... What do you want out of being vegetarian? Brittany explained the types of vegetarian you can be. The choice is yours. Do you want to eat eggs and milk? If you are not eating meat because you are making the best choice for you, then you are doing it! You can call yourself a vegetarian for that. If you don't feel comfortable eating eggs and milk, then you can choose to avoid them, too. If you are new to being a vegeterian, my suggestion is that you take it one step at a time, one day at a time. Remember, you aren't joining a club with requirements, you are making lifestyle choices that impact your own health and the environment. Good for you!!!

i'm a vegetarian! i be responsive to what you advise. this is complicated to electrify the non-vegetables. in the experience that your husband could have cheese I notably propose something that useful properties it. two times baked potatoes could be great. different suggestions for a BBQ could desire to be potato salad, quiche, or possibly a quinoa salad could be a great concept because of the fact it has finished proteins on a similar time as nonetheless being vegan. i do no longer propose bringing faux meats, because of the fact even however i think of they are delicious they have an inclination to strange the fewer-accepting human beings out. i'm hoping that helps!

some people who are not strictly vegetarian eat fish, eggs, dairy, etc.
Vegans will not eat any meat by products at all.
If you want to be vegetarian or vegan; that is your choice. I would recommend for you to take B-Complex. The only natural vitamin B comes from meat. and without a good B-complex as a supplement vegetarians and vegans get sick.
I am neither vegetarian or vegan. I eat a ham and cheese omelet in the mornings (with onle little slice of ham). The egg for and ham for protien, the ham for vitamin B, and cheese for calcium.
The other meals I eat veggies, fruits and grains.

Yes, but no dead animals of any kind, be they mammal, fish or poultry (bird).
:)
Vegetarians do not eat animals, but they do eat the products animals produce, a.k.a. milk and eggs.
However, soy milk will give you a lot of protein.
