Nope. I'm an animal rights activist and am not a Vegan. Or a Vegetarian. I'm against animal testing and cruelty.

Well, is hard to explain but when I am taking my culinary degree, all my vegetarian cruisine organisers like speaker, chef and teacher are vegan. They showed us animals being tortured and all that. I was like thinking, is that vegetarian cruisine all about? Are they a vegan because of tortured animals?
In my own opinion, I dare to say 75% vegans are animal rights activists.

Not necessarily, although that would be consistent. I'd bet if you turned the question around and asked if Vegans are animal rights activitsts you'd find a higher percentage of Yes.

Some of them are, some of them aren't. It depends on what level of involvement in animal rights they're in. If you volunteer at the Humane Society, you might go get a hamburger afterwards; but if you volunteer by saving cows who escape from a slaughterhouse, I'm thinking you're much more likely not to eat a hamburger or buy leather shoes.

particular, i'm professional-existence and that i'm a vegan and an animal activist. To me, the value of human and animal existence is equivalent, so killing animals at a slaughterhouse and unborn toddlers in a medical institution are appropriate. there is quite some dialogue on notwithstanding if or no longer the fetuses sense discomfort, nicely they in all risk can such as you pronounced, however the factor is that it quite is a existence that has began and ethically should not be stopped. quite with such quite some risk-free adoption classes obtainable immediately, its nevertheless her decision notwithstanding if she needs to maintain the toddler or no longer shop the toddler, its in simple terms much less damaging. Rape victims, i desire might evaluate adoption. in the top people are animals, so we want risk-free practices regulations preserving us alive (or people who might exchange into alive) too. in simple terms my opinion, nevertheless.

The ones that aren't hypocrites are :)
But animal-rights is not to be confused with animal-welfare (the belief that animals should be cared for and treated well, but not have rights) ASPCA and all that. Although some would argue it's all the same, that's beyond the scope of this question.

More likely than not. I do that many celebs are activists and eat meat as a way of life as long as the animals are not wasted, mistreated or held in captivity and forced to do unnatual lifestyles.

As H. Whitney Brown once said, "I'm not a vegetarian because I love animals. I'm a vegetarian because I hate plants."

Not necessarily, but most are either vegetarians or limited meat eaters if they are not vegans.
