I'm just wondering: I've never seen an overweight vegan. All the vegans I know are skinny as ... I'm a vegan and it's certainly not a high fat diet ... but maybe you guys have seen fat vegans? I'm not talking about cheese ceating veggi types, I mean proper vegans.

I don't eat meat because I ADORE animals, but.. I eat fish. People bully me because of that but it's just that.. I eat fish because I need the protein as I have a very fragile system and my doctor said that I can't, cuz I would easily die or something, as I am a thin girl of 14, and still growing. Fellow animal lovers, can u help me???.

I was looking in the obituaries and I noticed one of my friends from high school died. I later found out the cause of death was veganism. I had heard where a vegan diet could reduce your life expectancy, but I never really thought it was that severe until now. I used to ivite him over for bar-b-q, but he would also say he doesn't like meat. If he would have just eat a little bar-b-q, he would be alive today.

Well, actually I'm a vegitarian that is allergic to milk, and lactose intolerant (they are not the same thing, being allergic to milk is bring allergic to milk protien, and lactose intolerant is not being able to have lactose, I am both so zero milk product), so the recipies can have egg in them.

I am a new vegetarian. Now, my question to you is did you ever get cravings for meat once you changed (this is if you were not raised vegetarian ofcourse) I have not had any.. It actually repulses me. I am going on just over a month... Could cravings still come? Or am I just all the sudden a vegetarian? It was like a switch for me... One day after I made a meatloaf, I had 1 bite for lunch of the leftovers and that one bite changed me... I would love to never have another meat craving again! Did you have any? And if so, how long after you turned veggie?

Based on past studies and reports, I have decided to cut out red meat and pork from my diet, at least for now. I ate alot of red meat and I know that many pounds stay undigested within the body for several years. I'm not keen on becoming a full-fledged vegetarian, but I have stopped eating red meat within the past 2 weeks and have eaten just fish and chicken. I do feel alot better, but I think about having a steak or a burger once in a while. Pork is out of the question because it never really made me feel that great after eating it and it usually has a 'not-so-pleasant' smell to it. I don't even eat hot dogs or bologna. Once I cleanse my body of the remaining red meat, is it safe to eat it once in a while or just not at all?

I once went to stay in a lovely B and B I'm not saying where because otherwise the room was fantastic and the place was spotless, Guess what the veggie breakfast was? Scrambled eggs on toast!!! That spoiled it a little. Seeing as we now have wheels we want to visit more of our lovely Island and have an appetising breakfast in the mornings!!!

When you put anyvege in a juicer, does all of it get made into juice or are their scraps? Also, what combinations of veges or fruits are good when mixed together for a drink? I mean, are there any "recipies" for natural juices? Is this a good diet?

I know nothing about them. So recommendations on good brandnames would be helpful too. Also, is it okay to buy one used on Ebay?
