I once went to stay in a lovely B and B I'm not saying where because otherwise the room was fantastic and the place was spotless, Guess what the veggie breakfast was? Scrambled eggs on toast!!! That spoiled it a little. Seeing as we now have wheels we want to visit more of our lovely Island and have an appetising breakfast in the mornings!!!

Thanks Daisy May, great website!!!!. I did mean veggie. Altough I like scrambled eggs I usually 'tart them up a bit' ,I personally feel it lacks imagination as a vegetarian brekkie!!

Michael H, fab and informative answer as usual!!!
Thumbs down to the two sillies who suggested meat or croissants!!!
A croissant is a very occasional treat, I maybe have one a year with St Dalfour preserve not really a breakfast solution for me!!

shame on some of these answers that think Scrambled egg on toast or croissants are good enough. No wonder veggies and vegans get fed up with B&Bs, resturants and hotels.
Why do most people think Veggies pick at food. We want to feel full up as well you know.
We've got a veggie B&B on the Shropshire border near Oswestry, its ideal for a quiet break, or to reach out to mid/north wales, chester or shrewsbury.
For breakfast you can have:
Orange jiuce
Cereal
fresh fruit
toast, jams
coissants
cooked: sausages(v), bacon(v),mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs, beans, hashbrowns
Scrambles eggs, Ommlette, poached or boiled eggs
We also have vegan spreads, preserves, cereals, toast, milk and yogurt
You are welcome to have the lot.
We are currently undergoing a complete referb so everything will be brand new for 2007. Our rooms include one with a 4 poster, whirlpool bath and jet shower, the others are shower ensuites.
Its a shame that phsycopaths lurk in the V&V section, because that means I can't post the link to our B&B so cannot complete the answer.
EDIT: it you want more of a hotel than a B&B, why not try the Lancrigg Veggie Country House Hotel. This has some great rooms, all with period features, its in the heart of Wordsworth walking country in Grasmere, lake district, Cumbria.
See them at: http://www.lancrigg.co.uk/
cheers,
MH

Stopped in the Wildlife Hotel in Blackpool. Completely by accident as my orginal hotel was extremely dirty. The Wildlife was very welcoming and the breakfast was a full fry up with veg sausages, organic eggs and organic vegetarian butter. There were a lot of cats and dogs around, which was not my cup of tea but I could not fault the service, or the fact the lady was very accomodating when I turned up in the middle of the night after my horrific hotel experience.
Blackpool not for everyone and Ihave to say I will not be going back again.

I stroll out if there's a controversy and characteristic accomplished on some events. Have spoken to the administrative on some different events and the attitude impacts my selection to stay or pass. i think of there is something interior the British psyche to no longer make a fuss. commute lots for artwork, subsequently somewhat some a twelve months stayed in yet in lots of cases you recognize the stable ones and dodge the garbage yet you will get caught out whilst the reserving place of work messes up.

scrambled eggs on toast is vegetarian.
and yeah, start eating meat, what you're doing is completely unnatural. how does this breakfast sound - bacon, toast, eggs, beans, sausage, fried eggs, fried mushrooms, black pudding, tomatoes and a hash brown with a glass of orange juice and a cup of tea mmmmm - how can vegetarians object to getting that in a hotel?!

you should start eating meat. Bacon sandwiches are great.
Humans are supposed to be omnivorous.
