You're in a subset of vegetarian, see below, from http://vegetarian.about.com/od/glossary/g/Pescatarian.htm:

Glossary of Vegetarian Terms - Vegetarian Definitions
"Pescatarian"
From Jolinda Hackett,
Definition: Occasionally used to describe those who abstain from eating all meat and animal flesh with the exception of fish. Although the word is not commonly used and a pescatarian is not technically a vegetarian, more and more people are adopting this kind of diet, usually for health reasons or as a stepping stone to a fully vegetarian diet. Pescetarians often believe that moderate consumption of fish or fish oils, which are high in Omega-3 fatty acids, is necessary for optimum health, although vegetarian alternatives, such as flax seed oil, are available.

Alternate Spellings: Pescetarian

Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish, or poultry. An increasing number of vegetarians also abstain from using any animal products, including dairy, eggs, and honey. These vegetarians are called vegans (pronounced VEE-guns). Among the many reasons for being a vegetarian are health, environmental, ecological, and religious concerns, dislike for meat, compassion for animals. economics, world hunger, and belief in non-violence. The American Dietetic Association has affirmed that a vegetarian diet can meet all known nutrient needs and be healthful for people of all ages. The key to a healthy vegetarian diet, as with any other diet, is to eat a wide variety of foods, including fruits, vegetables, plenty of leafy greens, whole grain products, nuts, scads, and legumes.

To the above, a vegan is someone who doesn't use ANYTHING that came from an animal, right down to honey and wool, milk and eggs. Nothing at all. We are Herbivores.

A vegetarian is someone who doesn't eat anything that was once alive. Or, to make it easier to remember for certain people, anything that had a face.

To the question-asker. You were never vegan, and you are /certainly/ not a vegetarian. I believe the word you're looking for is "pescetarian" Latin for "awry ethics".

But why do you feel the need to even label yourself? I only use a label as a quick way of letting someone know not to give me anything that came from an animal. I don't see why you need it.

Fish aren't vegetables! Nor are shrimp or clams! So you're not a vegetarian if you eat them!
Loosen up! Look in the mirror! See those sharp pointy teeth? Those were meant to tear flesh from bone! You might want to live a vegetarian life, but you weren't born a vegetarian!
You're at the top of the food chain! Enjoy it before you become wormfood!

No, you would be a pesco-vegetarian.

And if you eat eggs you are an ovo-vegetarian, if you eat dairy, you are a lacto-vegetarian.

And... any combination of the above.... like the fairly common ovo-lacto vegetarian.

If you eat no animal matter what-so-ever, and also avoid the use of animal products (leather, wool, etc.) in your daily living, including those products that are tested on animals... You, my friend would be a vegan.

Fish are friends, not food!

Hope this helps!

Okay there are alot of strong minded vegetarians... but not to fear you are still Vegetarian just not a Vegan ect... I only have one friend who is a vegetarian (rest eat meat which is good) and she eats fish and seafood ... even chicken. I still think she is a vegetarian. Do not listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. It's your life! Good luck!

No, you are not a strict vegetarian, but in my opinion it's better to eat fish and sea food than to kill your mother, the cow and your father, the bull. The cow is your mother because she supplies nice foodstuffs made of milk, which is absolutely necessary for the human being; the bull is your father because he supplies grains as a result of tilling the fields. Besides, meat-eaters cannot understand the basics of spiritual life, which is "aham brahmasmi"...I am not this body. The Bible and Koran are for yavannas, meat eaters.

In Spain, apparently, you are. Strictly speaking, no. Vegetarians eat only plant-based food.
