via fact that your a vegetarian. Make your self some Spaghetti, or some Rice and vegetables, a salad. Get a can of "vegetarian refried beans" with some all dipping chips. there is fairly some property you are able to eat, in basic terms ask them to take out the beef.

www.allrecipes.com has a vegetarian recipe section. Try www.vegsoc.com for the Vegetarian Society (it's a UK organization, but it's about the only website I can think of offhand.)

Don't listen to the previous answerer who said vegetarianism is unhealthy. That's a crock. Vegetarians need to pay proper attention to getting a balanced diet JUST LIKE MEAT EATERS DO. I've been vegetarian for 20 years and I absolutely do not rely on supplements to stay healthy, nor am I suffering from any nutritional deficits. There's nothing meat offers that you cannot get elsewhere, with the possible exception of B12 (and that's only a concern if you're becoming vegan.) I rarely require the services of a doctor, but had a complete preconception physical recently; I discussed my diet in-depth with her then and she had no concerns whatsoever about my ability to nourish myself, not to mention sustain a future pregnancy, with my vegetarian diet. There are even vegetarian Olympians and Ironman triathletes, for goodness sake!

The above website is good, it's to do with parents being worried about their kids choosing to go veggie but its well set out and clear to read, and should put your mind at rest as well as give you some good ideas.

Please don't listen to people who say that you need meat to be healthy - you don't. Quite the opposite. People who think that way have been conditioned to believe it because meat is so well used in the western world. It's so untrue, as if evereyone was veggie the majority of cases of obesity, heart disease and cancer would be non existant. Meat is bad for your health so you're making the right choice.

Vegetarianism is the practice of not consuming meat, with or without the use of other animal derivatives, such as dairy products or eggs.

Other dietary practices often associated with vegetarianism:
Raw food diet practitioners don't eat food heated above a certain temperature.
Macrobiotic diet is a diet of mostly whole grains and beans.
Natural Hygiene in its classic form recommends a diet principally of raw vegan foods.
Fruitarianism is a diet of only fruit, nuts, seeds, and other plant matter that can be gathered without harming the plant.

Vegetarians easily meet their protein needs by eating a varied diet, as long as they consume enough calories to maintain their weight.

I hope this helps. :)

I hope you just realized that you decided to become unhealthy. There are NO substitutes for the nutrients one's body receives from meats. And quite honestly, any doctor will tell you that diet supplements(over the counter vitamins) are not the way to go to get what your body needs when you're malnutritioned. They're a very poor substitute for the real thing. You remember that food pyramid from elementary school health class? Well, what happens if you remove a piece of a pyramid? It falls down, doesn't it? Same thing is going to happen to your body. Good luck with that...
