Philips Citrus Press Double Cone Juicer would be better choice for you to purchase . In morning, we do not have much to get prepare a healthy breakfast then it would prove to be a good deal to extract juice spending minimal time. What are you waiting for ? Get it Now to save the money!!!!!!!!

I have a vita-mix. It grinds the whole veggie so you get fiber. If you peel the orange down to the white stuff you can throw it in. It will liquify pineapple core. It can be cleaned by filling 1/3 with water and flipping the switch. Vitamix can be found for about $400. I feel it's superior to a regular juicer because you aren't disposing of mounds of pulp and the fiber that your body needs so badly. I am sure they have a website and/or free video demo. If you buy through www.vegweb.com that site will get a comission to help them keep their veggie recipes posted. Best of luck! (If you want a "real" juicer maybe consumer reports can help)

I bought a good solid Champion Juicer in 1994, and use it about once a week for an hour or so. It will last forever, and happy with the extraction. I paid $299 at the time. I think I have got my moneys worth.

I really enjoy my Waring Health model juicer! It's sold under various Waring model names but normal list price is $70 and can be found (on sale or Amazon) for around $50. Works great, not to hard to clean and (sorry Joyce) quieter than my Vita-mix (it does a *bunch* of neat stuff tho).

Oh, I don't waste my pulp! I juice my herbs, veggies and fruits in separate batches and freeze the pulp for other uses. Veggie pulp goes for soups, breads and veggie burgers. Herb pulp also does good with soups and breads. Fruit pulp gets turned into pop-sickles and you can almost instantly make pear or applesauce!

I wish I could remember the guy's name, but he makes the Juiceman juicer, very good and relatively easy to clean.

Look for a metal one. The plastic kind are not as good
and harder to clean. If you're going to be doing some
serious juicing, that is the way to go IMHO.
