Besides the turkey and dressing, what good sides do you usually serve and what desserts, of course. Recipes for any unusual dishes would be appreciated, too. Best answer with tastiest, most interesting feast will get 10 pts.! Stars, appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I'm a very healthy person and I'm planning to make turkey meatloaf tonight. I know you need to add an egg, but can you make the meatloaf with just the egg whites? Or do I need the whole egg (including the yolk)? Thank you!!

I cooked some last week, which was more than enough for me, so I invited a friend round for dinner and we finished it off.

Am doing something similar again tonight, it will be about 2 large portions - so can I freeze some of it for another day?

Are there some sort of 'rules' I should be aware of with regards to seafood?

Many thanks.

ok people i am having my first date on friday and we agreed that we did not want to go out but eat in and cuddle up under the covers in front of the tv and watch a movie (cuddling up under the covers was not actually talked about but is a possibility) i need a toatly awsome recipie that will take lots of time to make and will really impress her. i can cook but i dont know what to make, oh and money is nothing i will be spending at least 100 dollars on this any way so i dont care how much it costs to make this. i will take answers from anyone that offers their help but if you are a chef that would be a great help (i said i can cook that means i know how to follow general directions and i have common sense around the kitchen) she said she would eat anything i make but i am really picky myself (no big peices of vegitables in the food and i dont eat much green) but i will use any kind of meat and any kind of spice that there is. (i am your basic fat guy i eat stuff that is not healthy)

I have a couple of sauce pans I love because I can heat milk and leftovers right in the pot with nothing sticking - has anyone used the frying pans? I was wondering if they were as good in the nonstick department?

i bought these 100 calorie microwaveable popcorn snack bags. They're totally guilt free, but they have no taste at all. I only taste a small hint of butter. I want to add something to it to make it taste better, but without any added fat. any ideas?

I have some recipes for cheese sauces but I was wondering about one thing though. I will be putting the cheddar cheese sauce over chicken and it will be baking in the oven. Should O prepare a cheese sauce and let it cool before putting over chicken to bake?

I've seen it on TV and in photos, but I've never understood how cooks get it (or control it for that matter). This is what I mean:

What is the technique and cause of it? How is it controlled to prevent it getting out of hand? I have a gas / open-flame stove and I would like to learn how to do it just a little to get some of that open-flame taste in my food. Thanks.

I usually cook the next day's lunch when I'm cooking dinner the night before. I usually put the food in a microwaveable container and stick it in the fridge, but by the time I prepare it for lunch the next day, it just doesn't taste good.

I usually grill chicken breasts on the George Foreman grill and then cook some rice or noodles or something, and it just doesn't do it for me.

Is there a better way to store the food? Am I reheating it wrong? Should I add sauces or whatever before I microwave it?

I often detect a gross smell that other people don't when I open raw pork from the grocery store even when the pork is far from its sell by date. Sometimes when I eat cooked pork there is a hint of this flavor. Does anyone else experience this?

Sometimes chicken smells like bleach to me even when it's allegedly fresh?

Am I nuts? Do I have bad luck? Am I returning and throwing away good food?

I peel, core, & dice and apple, mix it with a can of flaked light tuna, add mayo and usually some spices (onion powder, savory, rosemary, parsley, etc.), and I'll either eat it right out of the bowl, or sometimes have it as a sandwich. :)

Has anyone else tried that before? If not, you really should, it's surprisingly good! I really love it myself...anyone else have any weird combination of foods they love to snack on? Just curious...I also like cottage cheese & chopped up pineapple mixed together. :)
