I have some stewing beef in my freezer that I need to use up, but I am kinda tired of stew and I just made a big pot of veggie soup last week.
Any ideas?
I'm also on a low salt diet so it will have to be something I can make that's low in salt.

I've noticed many recipes online and in cookbooks that call for mayo as a condiment. But what is a good alternative for someone who hates the taste and texture? Does it depend on the dish in question?

I have a Jello mold in the shape of a brain. I once saw a recipe to scoop out a bunch of it after it sets, put a mixture of karob syrup and something else in it and then put more jello in it to seal it back up so it oozes when you cut it. Any ideas. I want it edible. Thanks.

OK, so I'm buying a crock pot for the first time and I'm wondering what features/brands etc. I should look for. Do I need a timer etc.? Should I get one that will automatically keep something warm when it's finished cooking?

I just got a new job and I'll be out all day so I'd like to have dinner ready sometimes for when I get home. I'm single and live alone, so I probably don't need a really big one, although I would like to be able to fit a whole chicken in it. I enjoy spicy foods like curries, asian style foods, and foods with lots of flavour, so if anyone has any great, easy recipes I'd love to hear them. I don't want anything where I have to pre-cook something, then put it in the crock pot to cook more.

Thanks!

I'm an able cook, capable of undertaking complicated and advanced recipes. I avoid turkey because it's dull. In past years I've done lamb biryani (takes two days), roast duck a l'orange, and even a good turkey. There will probably be just three adults and an under 10 for the meal. What's new, appetising, not going to break the bank, won't take an age to prepare/cook and will impress me?! (I've a very fine-tuned palate.) Sound like a nightmare? I am. But please still help me.
