I want to make a chocolate banana bread.?

It will not be from scratch but from a mix. I want to add cocoa powder to the mix, would I have to add extra sugar as well?

I would say yes, because cocoa powder is the opposite of sweet. to double check, go to allrecipes.com & search for chocolate banana bread.

I have never made banana bread from a mix, but I have made banana bread from scratch and added chocolate chips. It was great! Try adding about 1/2 cup; I didn't add any extra sugar.
