During the week I tend to make quick meals. Tonight we are having spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and a salad.
But beef stew sounds great! I'll be over in about a hour! ;)

lasagna.. I love pasta & you can make a veggie version that is simply divine..
serve with a crisp fruity side salad & you got food heaven. ..
as a second choice it would be Beef stew.. again you can make a wonderful stew without meat.. I would add dumplings... herbie or spiced.. they absorb the delicious gravy or juices ... absolutely fab..
serve with chunky butter roasted vegetables such as carrots or sweet potato.. yum..

i would have roast chicken with roast potatos veggies and gravy.
its something the whole family can enjoy.
If you dont like veggies salad and chips is another option.
